In this post I plan to discuss the difference between revising and remixing your research paper. Revising is simply just editing what your rough draft so that it reaches its fullest potential. When revising you don’t really change the meaning or the approach of the original draft. All that you are really doing is going back fixing mistakes, adding or removing details, and clarifying misconceptions. Remixing is completely changing the original genre that you started off with. You would even change the approach in order to capture whoever your intended audience is. For example if it’s for a group of parents you might want to start off with a bold fact that is unknown unlike if it’s a group of teens you might want to start off with an exciting video to crab their attention.
