So I wasn’t able to get my hands on the book to actually read the pages so I analyzed other people’s blog posts. Out of the four blog posts that I read the two that I liked the most was Jordan Parks and Hannah Smith’s. They both talk about how you have to go beyond the internet and even the database sometimes in order to get the sources that you need.
For example Hannah discusses how she is researching the recreational department of tourists resorts and how she doesn’t have many articles to choose from in the databases. Therefore she has to reach out to managers and got to resort websites in order to gain more resources.
I know my topic which is about spaying and neutering animals will have plenty of sources but I also have to be careful. I have to make sure that when I look outside the database that I’m not looking at biased sources since there are people out there who don’t believe in spaying or neutering their animal.
