I'm a freshman at Florida State University majoring in Biology minoring in Psychology. I graduated from the magnet school Tampa Bay Tech HS where my shop was veterinary assisting. In order to graduate with my certification of veterinary assisting I had to complete at least 500 hours of under the supervision of Veterinary technician or Veterinarian. I completed about 250 hours at the Pet Resource Center which was previously known as Hillsborough County Animal Services. I volunteered there my junior and senior year mostly in the summer and on breaks.Volunteering there gave me a different point of view on what it would be like to work in the veterinary field
